Treatment process
First and second consultations are generally assessment sessions which may involve psychological testing to identify and assess issues such as depression, anxiety and trauma. Subsequent sessions then involve treatment and evaluation.
Making an appointment
Appointments are available Tuesday to Friday between 9am and 5pm (AWST) at either the East Bunbury practice, online video session or by telephone.

Dom is registered with the Psychologists Board of Australia and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), which is the largest professional association of psychologists in Australia, with a comprehensive Code of Ethics and complementary series of Ethical Guidelines.
As a client of Marzano & Co. Consultant Psychologists, you have a right to expect that you will:
receive competent and professional service
receive a clear statement about the fee
receive an estimate of the number of sessions required to achieve your goals
receive a service free from any type of harassment
be shown respect for your cultural background and language tradition.
be treated with respect
receive a clear explanation of the service you will receive
be asked for consent for any service sought by the psychologist prior to the service commencing and as it progresses
receive an explanation about the nature and limits of confidentiality surrounding the service
be clear about the goals that you and the psychologist are working toward
Medicare and
health fund rebates
A Medicare rebate of $93.35 applies for services provided by Dom Marzano with a GP referral letter that meets the Medicare audit guidelines. Rebates will be processed online with Medicare within 24 hours of each appointment by the practice admin team and a lodgement confirmation emailed.
Private health fund rebates may also apply subject to the level of cover held. A receipt will be emailed following each appointment and clients can claim online directly with their health fund provider. Private health rebate amounts vary per fund and depending on the level of cover held. We recommend calling your health fund provider prior to onboarding with us, as you may prefer to claim private health before Medicare.
Legally, only one rebate can be claimed at any one time.
