Medicare Rebates
The Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative is delivered by the Australian Government and aims to improve the treatment and management of people living with mental health problems. To be eligible for a Medicare rebate you must be appropriately referred for treatment by your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician and you should book a longer time for your appointment as they will need to conduct a detailed Mental Health assessment and complete a Mental Health Treatment plan. At Marzano Family Psychology, Domenic Marzano is authorised to provide psychological treatment under Better Access as he is a Registered Psychologist with a Medicare Provider Number. To make it easy for you we can process Medicare Rebate’s on the spot with Medicare Easyclaim. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the rebates available through Better Access.
Private Health Insurance Rebates
Our Psychologist is registered with most private health insurers. We have a HICAPS terminal and can process rebates from most private health funds on the spot. As an alternative we can provide you with a receipt so that you can claim later. Please contact your private health fund to see if you are eligible for a rebate and quote our Psychologist’s Provider Number: 4339891F.
